Lately, my little one has wanted to “help” around the house a lot. Toddlers get like that. I thought it might be fun to make some cookies with her the other day, and what better idea for a blog post than a sweet recipe? Even better when I can say it’s also a gluten-free melt in your mouth peanut butter cookie recipe?
Super easy to make and only three ingredients!
From the Kraft Canada website:
1 cup smooth peanut butter (you can also use chunky, depending on your preference)
½ cup sugar
1 egg
Heat oven to 325F
Mix all ingredients with large spoon until well blended
Roll into balls, place four inches apart on baking sheets, flatten with fork
Bake 20 min or until lightly browned. Cool 5 min on baking sheets, transfer to wire racks, cool completely.
I doubled the recipe with no complications (can’t always do that with all recipes!)
Of course little Ella thought this was a total blast, and loved every minute of it until we had to bake them…she didn’t mind eating them afterwards though!
In our house, with all kinds of food allergies, thankfully peanuts are not on the list of allergens! This is a super quick, fun recipe that even the littlest people can help out with. Enjoy!
